Maurice Tulich - Founder and Director
Maurice Tulich founded Tulich Family Communities in 1995, driven by a deep passion for providing exceptional retirement and aged care communities that uphold family values, respect, and dignity. His vision has always been to create welcoming environments where older Australians can thrive, surrounded by care, comfort, and community.
The foundation of Maurice’s journey began in 1968 when he acquired land in Prestons from his grandfather, originally used for farming. This land later became the site of Blue Hills Village, the first Tulich community, marking the beginning of a legacy in seniors’ living. With a background in accounting and early exposure to aged care environments, Maurice was determined to develop a better model—one that prioritizes independence, wellbeing, and a genuine sense of belonging.
