Out and About: A Wonderful Day at Wollongong Art Gallery

Getting out into the community is an important part of life at Greenhill Aged Care, and our recent visit to the Wollongong Art Gallery was a wonderful opportunity for residents to enjoy art, culture and great company.

Residents spent the day exploring a diverse collection of exhibitions, taking in everything from contemporary works to traditional pieces. The gallery sparked curiosity, inspired conversation and encouraged everyone to share their own thoughts, memories and interpretations of the artworks on display.

Art has a remarkable way of bringing people together. Whether admiring a beautiful landscape, discussing the story behind a painting or discovering a favourite artist, the experience encouraged meaningful conversation and connection throughout the day. There were plenty of smiles, thoughtful discussions and moments of reflection as residents explored the galleries at their own pace.
